If you want to learn fast with personal, one-to-one tuition then this is for you. We spend one – or two – days working intensively together on Canon and Sony cameras so you gain confidence in your filming, whatever the gear. Because it’s only you, we can structure the days to cover the areas most useful to you – whether that’s filming action, interview set-ups and practice or a lighting workshop using a variety of lights and modifiers so you can see what works for you. We also have time to cover more of the non-tecchy but vitally important human stuff about filming documentary-style – how to conduct interviews and make your subjects feel comfortable in front of camera. You’ll be learning from one of the best in the business and you can ask anything – no question too daft!
There’s much more flexibility here for us to tailor the course to your needs. We discuss that in a pre-course phone call so I can be sure we’re covering the ground. Then we work hard together for two days! So, the areas we’ll cover and what you’ll learn is more up to you but I’d expect that might include….
We can/do supply cameras but if you’d prefer to work with your own camera then let me know in advance. It’s useful/essential for your camera to have an HDMI out port so we can easily review shots on the big screen.
